TERMS & CONDITIONS OF MEMBERSHIP
The AREA is organized under Object Management Group® (OMG®)'s 501(c) (6) not-for-profit status. It operates under OMG's existing governance, policies and procedures under the oversight of the AREA Steering Committee.

Affiliate and Non-Commercial/Academic member fee: $3,000 regardless of size.

There are two reasons we joined the AREA. Number one, we want to provide immersive training experiences that are effective without putting the hazard in front of the trainee early in their training process.

We want to be able to give back part of the knowledge that we have been developing, thanks to AREA. We want to make these lasting connections with the industry and with people that are actually deploying these technologies to the workers, into the field. We currently have about five professors that are involved in different aspects of AR/VR technologies. So our goal is to position Texas A&M at the forefront of AR research.
