Overview of event
Bosch ConnectedWorld is the annual conference on the Internet of Things (IoT) and will take place on 17-18 February 2015. Executives, thought leaders, and expert speakers share their best practices and case studies around IoT-empowered products, services, and solutions. They will provide examples about how those solutions have:
- Improved the way of running their businesses
- Brought new business models and revenue channels to life
- Streamlined and automated their processes
- Made the lives of their customers, citizens, or employees safer, easier, or more comfortable
The conference addresses Bosch customers, partners, and employees who work on business and technology strategies to benefit from integrating things into systems and processes. A business track introduces successfully implemented use cases in the areas of mobility, energy, manufacturing, and connected home/building/cities. The technology track showcases what is required to plan, build, run and measure a reliable and scalable IoT platform. Beyond this, analysts and thought leaders give insights into future developments and the continuously increasing potential of the IoT.

The domed “Kongresshalle,” now known as bcc, was designed by the architect Hermann Henselmann, who also designed the Television Tower at Berlin’s Alexanderplatz, and built in the early sixties. The bcc attracts the eye with its transparent, clear design and many interesting architectural details. Its glistening aluminum dome can be seen from far away; visitors to the building’s foyer are provided with an unobstructed view of the Berlin cityscape.
