Overview of event

Gitex Technology Week is a four-day annual computer and electronics trade show that includes themes on Augmented and Virtual Reality, artificial intelligence, wearables, smart living and digital marketing. The event consists of both a conference and an exhibition area. The conference provides themed days with presentations relevant to those themes on each day. The themes include marketing, healthcare, finance, retail, education and energy.

Gitex Technology Week welcomes 146,000 visitors each year and features 4,200 exhibitors from 144 countries. Conference topics include:

  • Industrial mobility and Augmented Reality for digital innovation
  • Internet of Things for smart refineries and energy production
  • Industrial case studies
  • Security in digital environments
  • Learning methods with QR codes and Augmented Reality

The event also promotes technology startups with a separate conference track on topics from funding to case studies.
