Safety in the workplace is essential and everyone’s responsibility but the use of AR brings additional challenges
Using AR may reduce the workers focus on potential hazards and Safety issues
As companies pilot and implement AR solutions, Safety must be considered from design through to implementation
The AREA Safety Committee has been working for 4 years to help identify, classify and prioritize AR Safety risks and develops risk reduction recommendations
In this WorkinAR we will be explore the importance of Safety in AR, using the AREA Safety Infographic and Safety Playbook to “dissect” various Safety consideration, create a opportunity to ask questions and share insights and best practice with organisations who have successfully implemented the technology and a panel of AR experts
This session will be a combination of presentation, polls (e.g. asking questions of the attendees), break out sessions, attendee inputs and wrap up Q&A’s
Attendees will receive: the AREA Safety Infographic, AREA Safety Playbook, AREA recommendations of cleaning AR devices under COVID, a recording of the session AND a great understanding of next steps to ensure Safety is not a barrier to AR Adoption
