Overview of event

The ninth annual Winter Augmented Reality Meeting (WARM ’16) brings together researchers and practitioners from academic institutions and companies worldwide on the topics of Augmented Reality, Virtual Reality and ubiquitous computing. WARM ’16 is a forum for presentation and discussion of new ideas and seeks contributions from a diverse array of technical domains.

Call for Presentations

WARM ’16 will be organized along similar lines as an academic workshop but there will be neither proceedings nor referable publications. Participants are encouraged to present new ideas and solicit feedback to improve their chances for getting published.

Each presenter will have 15 minutes of presentation time, with 5 minutes of discussion afterwards. Demo tables will be set up for those wanting to demonstrate their ideas.

Topics for presentation include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Tracking including sensor fusion and computer vision
  • Mobile Augmented Reality
  • Ubiquitous Augmented Reality
  • Smart Environments
  • User Interface Techniques and Interaction Methods
  • Applications
  • User studies
  • Future Directions for Augmented Reality Research
  • Teaching with and about Augmented Reality
